Two tips for today:
1. Plant golden Marguerite. Different beneficial insects
are attracted to different type of flowers and herbs, but
this flower tends to attract a wide variety of your allies.
You can grow from seed now, and plant out when there is no further prospect of frost.
2. Don’t go crazy with the mulch if you have a slug problem.
Yes, mulch is a good thing, as it can inhibit weed growth
and help retain moisture. But it’s also a great hideout
for slugs.
As a PS: if you have a birthday present to buy for someone who is interested in gardening, but you are not sure what to get them, why not buy National Garden Vouchers? I just did. ( NB this site is not affiliated or otherwise connected in way to this voucher scheme)
